Day Four: Fishing The Rocks
11-4-2022
Royal Polaris Crew
Well after a long night, the Yellowtail made a brief showing around 0500 hours. We only landed 10, but they were all jumbos (30-40 pounds).
Around 7:30, we pulled the anchor and headed back to the rocks. We arrived back to the rocks, did some trolling, for not one bite.
The life around the rocks was almost nothing, so we put the anchor down and stared picking away a small Yellowfin, but we did get a little surprise. Wahoo, we ended getting a handful of Wahoo, all on the live bait wire leaders.
Around 14:00 hours, we’ve had enough. We are now headed to the ridge, and the reports there are better than out here, but it’s tough fishing down here.
Something has to change, and I’m hoping it happens soon.
Weather is a bit rough. We have about 15 knots out of the northwest. It was a bit chilly also today.
But that’s all we have to report. So until tomorrow wish us luck. Team R/p

Most of the Yellowfin were in the 12-15 pound, with...... Read More
