Lake Success rose to 37 percent of capacity, and fishing was good last week
5-13-2022
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Lake Success rose to 37 percent of capacity, and fishing was good last week. Senkos, drop shot, Texas rigged plastic worms, and jigs worked in 5 to 25 feet of water. One angler reported an 8-pound bass on 10” ribbon tail worms. Crankbaits and Keitechs got bite along points and flats. Crappie ate small live minnows and minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles near the marina, and catfish anglers did well with chicken liver, dip bait, and garlic scented nightcrawlers.
