Fall is here and the trout are starting to move ! Anglers are enjoying great trout action on both lakes with Power Bait ( especially rainbow, spring green, garlic, salmon peach and orange) night crawlers ( dipped in garlic), jigs and lures ( bubblegum and orange Power Worms, Roostertails, Jakes, and crappie jigs) are catching limits. There was good size on most trout with lots of big fish over 3 pound fish caught. Hot spots included the grassy point, the pump house, the western shore near the bridge as well as the eastern and north shore of lake 3. Hots spots for lake 2 included the northern and eastern shores and the western shore near the drain. Catfish are still strong on both lakes with angler using mackerel, power bait and night crawlers to catch limits. Hot spots for cat include the pump house and western shore of lake 3 near the drain and the northern and eastern shores of lake particularly near the inlets and the wall. Bass continue to hit senkos and spinner bait on the northern shore of lake 3 and the eastern and western shores of lake 2 with anglers reporting fish up to 5 pounds.

#1: Jim Bon of Green Valley scored 21 pounds of trout for a limit on the northern shore of lake 3. at Jess Ranch Lakes. He used a G Loomis rod and a perch jig with his heaviest rainbows weighing 6 Lbs 11 ozs and 5 lbs 15 ozs.

Pic #2: Sal Garcia of Riverside used a night crawler from the eastern logged shore of lake 3 at Jess Ranch Lakes to catch his 6 lbs 7 ozs rainbow.

Catches of the Week: Jim Bon of Green Valley scored 21 pounds of trout for a limit on the northern shore of lake 3. Sal Garcia of Riverside used a night crawler from the eastern logged shore of lake 3 to catch his 6 lbs 7 ozs rainbow. Victorville angler, Miguel Rebollo, caught a 4 lbs 7 ozs and 3 lbs 9 ozs rainbows on night crawlers while fishing the eastern logged shore of lake 3. John Varga of Glendale used rainbow and garlic Power Bait to catch his 3 Lbs 14 ozs trout from the western shore of lake 3 near the bridge. Thirteen year old, Jordan Hein of Riverside, caught his 3 lbs rainbow on a Rattletrap from the grassy point of lake 3. Joe Alfaro of Pomona reeled in his 3 lbs 14 ozs and 3 lbs 7 ozs rainbows using salmon peach Power Bait and a night crawler from the western shore of lake 3. Adelanto angler, Benito Rojas, caught a 3 lbs 10 ozs on a night crawler while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3. Ten year old, Austin Diano of Rancho Cucamonga caught his 2 lbs 1 ozs trout using rainbow Power bait while fishing the eastern shore of lake 2. Riverside angler, Raul Mejis, used garlic Power Bait to catch his 3 lbs 10 ozs rainbow from the grassy point of lake 3.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round.
This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
