Jess Ranch Lake Fish Report
10-4-2009
Jess Ranch Lakes Staff
It looks like Fall is here out on the high desert. Temperatures have really dropped and the trout are starting
to move. Anglers used Power Bait ( especially rainbow, garlic, spring green and lemon twist), night crawlers,
lures and jigs to catch limits. Most trout were near or over 2 pounds and the action was good throughout the
day. Hot spots included the eastern and western shores of lake 3 and the northern and eastern shore of lake
2. Catfish also continue to be strong particularly on the western shore of lake 3 near the pump house and
the eastern shore of lake 2. Bass are biting senkos and tubes especially on the northern shore of lake 3 and
the southeastern shore of lake 2 near the wall.
