Lewiston Lake is fishing well right now
1-28-2022
The Fly Shop
Lewiston Lake is fishing well right now, and with most anglers heading further downstream to chase steelhead on the Trinity, you should find some elbow room to chase the rainbows on this lake. This time of year you should always plan to fish midges and Blue Wing Olive patterns. Stripped slowly, or under an indicator, this will be you go to method to hook up. Bring your Bugger Box with plenty of black, brown and olive patterns too, and Balanced Leeches are very effective here as well. If you have a motor, head up and fish the dam outflow, it can be spectacular.
