The Fly Shop
Baum Lake is in great shape, there are a ton of fish, midges and Baetis are coming off daily and I don't know why I'm still in the shop typing this. Zebras in brown and black, sizes #16 - 20, stripped or under an indicator are good strategies. Sweet Peas, under an indicator, or Jigged Quills in silver or copper, will work too. Balanced Leeches, Crystal Buggers, these are go-to's on this lake. Bring all of your smaller Adams and Parachute Adams, you should get a chance to cast over some noses here. Our guides have this place wired if you are looking for some tactical advice on fishing a great spring creek fishery with an expert!
