Pedro Pangas Fish Report

8-27-2009
Pete Hills

This fish report is from Pete Hillis, reporting out of Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja Mexico for the week ending 8/27/09.

This week we had 20 boats out fishing the waters in San Quintin. The weather was spectacular - on and off light winds with warm temperatures, hitting around 85 degrees in the afternoons. We had a great white seabass count at Soccorro with mixed in Calicos, sandies and barracuda. Outside we found several paddies where there were large yellowtail and medium sized dorado. They had our anglers quite busy on board.

Attached to this report is the picture of Alice Rudd who we mentioned in our report last week. At 71 years young, she is pictured with her very first dorado. The 2nd and 3rd photos of her fishing partners, (left to right) Eddie Delahoya, Alice, and Eddie Delahoya, Jr., all from Long Beach, CA.

Let's go fishing . . .
