The Trout fishing has been solid after last week’s plants
11-5-2021
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
The Trout fishing has been solid after last week’s plant of both Lightening and Rainbow trout donated from Cope’s Tackle. There are quality trout in here up to five pounds, with most of the fish are averaging around two pounds. Trout have been going for Trout on Jigs, Get Bent Baits, Rainbow Powerbait, Garlic scented Powerbait, spinners, and mice tails. Cope’s Tackle will be stocking the lake next week with trophy size Lightening and rainbow Trout in the mix. The Annual Bakersfield Firefighters Fishing Derby & Pancake Breakfast will be held February 5, 2022. Tickets are now available and both lakes will be utilized for this event.
