Lake Kaweah rose to 12 percent of capacity

Lake Kaweah rose to 12 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported solid fishing. The spotted bass have been chasing jerkbaits, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits in the mornings. Drop shot, Senkos, and jigs worked for bites throughout the day. The larger bass have been reported by anglers working jigs in deeper water near rocky structure. Catfish went for cut baits, dip bait, and chicken liver.
