Fishing was decent at Hart Park this week

Fishing was decent at Hart Park with anglers reporting good numbers of smaller bass. Weedless plastics, topwater lures, and swimbaits got most of the attention last week. Anglers have been punching through the heavy grass with green pumpkin creature baits and Texas rigged worms for bites, and weedless frogs have been working on top of those same weed beds. A few better-quality bass were reported by swimbait anglers throwing big trout imitations. Catfish anglers reported a few fish using cut sardines and nightcrawlers, and bluegill have been eating redworms and mealworms under a bobber.
