Crappie remain the best bet at BV with some anglers scoring limits
8-27-2021
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Crappie remain the best bet at BV with some anglers scoring limits. The crappie are located near rocky cover, submerged bushes, or intakes and outlets. Trout On and Get Bent Baits have been the ticket lately. Another option is to ask the guys at Copes what to use. Largemouth anglers fished the cattails for some decent bassin’ last week. Flipping, finesse plastics, and topwater were the top producers, but some crankbait fish were reported as well. Catfish anglers reported smaller catfish going for chicken liver, nightcrawlers, and cut anchovies.
