We've Had Quite a Few Good Reports From the Virginias This Past Week

Kens Sporting Goods Staff
We’ve had quite a few good reports from the Virginias this past week, there seems to be a lot of smaller native brookies and rainbows being caught up there as well as some good 2 to 5 pound rainbows. The anglers fishing from kayaks or tubes seem to be doing better, especially during the heat of the day and the shore fishing is best in the mornings and evenings. Bait anglers are catching fish with power eggs, mice tails and pinched crawlers, lure anglers are using mini jigs, Thomas Bouyants and Kastmaster. Fly anglers are doing the best with sinking lines pulling leech patterns and we did talk to a couple fly anglers who had great action fishing midges under indicators.
