We've Started to Get Some Good Reports From the West Lately
6-20-2021
Kens Sporting Goods Staff
We’ve started to get some good reports from the West lately, with anglers reporting lots of nice fish in the 12 to 17 inch range, both browns and rainbows. It sounds like there’s pretty good numbers of fish in the river where it runs along Highway 395 with fly anglers reporting good action with rubber leg stones and hare’s ear nymphs. It sounds like the fish are holding in the deeper water so you may need some extra weight to get your flies and/or lures or bait down near the bottom to be successful. Moving around and covering lots of water will likely be beneficial as well, sometimes you may need to do a bit of hiking to find where the fish are holding.
