Fall River Fishing Report 4/16/21

Fly and Field Outfitters
The Fall River will continue to heat up as it gets warmer. The fish are relatively spread out, so the anglers should do the same. Mayfly hatches are predominantly march browns and blue wing olives; however, we should start seeing pale morning duns anytime now. Caddis dry flies around size 14 or 16 also have potential to get a fish to come up. The typical small mayfly nymphs and tiny midges are the most productive sub surface flies, but don’t be afraid to mix it up with a larger size 16 mayfly nymph, especially if a hatch picks up. Enjoy some nice sunny, warm days stalking big Fall River bows, it should be a great week out there.
