BASS
DVL bass fishing continues to impress shore and boat anglers. There has been a solid jerkbait bite early morning. For the remainder of the day drop shots, senkos, and brush hogs have been the most productive. Shad have been popping up so flukes, fished on a scrounger or underspin has faired well. Bob Stevens of Glendale had the best report of the week with over 120 released bass. He was fishing with Roboworms along the dams.

TROUT
Trout fishing has been slow. Typically as surface temperatures rise the trout will move to the west end of the lake where they can reach greater depths. Lead core trolling or drift fishing has been the most effective methods in previous years.

STRIPER
There were no striper reports this week. The usual baits include swimbaits and topwater plugs.

CATFISH
The Catfish bite has been wide open at DVL. Cats have been biting near the marina, the east dam and, by the rock quarry. Mackerel, anchovies, and shrimp are the best baits.

PANFISH
The blue gill reports have increased tremendously this week. Many anglers have been catching along the dams with jigs or live worms. Bob Stevens of Glendale caught a 2.57 pound crappie fishing along one of the dams.
