Trout action was fair to excellent this week with anglers reporting best bite before 10am. Power Bait ( especially salmon peach, spring green, orange and yellow), night crawlers, lures and jigs all caught limits. Hot spots included the eastern shore and western shore near the pump house of lake 3 as well as the eastern, southern and northern shores of lake 2. Anglers reported good size on most trout with many near or over 2 pounds. Bass and Bluegill are still waiting for the warm- up with anglers reporting some action especially near the wall of lake 2 and the north shore of lake 3.

Apple Valley angler, George Frasier, limited with a stringer that weighed 11 lbs 9 ozs. He used salmon peach Power Bait and fished the eastern shore of lake 3.
