Lower Deschutes Update
11-6-2020
Fly and Field Outfitters
The left side of the river has closed for the season on the Warm Springs Res. side and will not reopen until next spring. However, the right side of the day stretch has been very productive all the way down to Maupin. Warm Springs is just now seeing a few Steelies caught on the swing, and have been seeing some decent reports coming down closer to the Maupin area. Keep on eye on the White River and if it has come into shape yet and calmed down then you can stretch out your efforts closer to the mouth. As far as trout big Golden Stone to represent an October Caddis in a size 8, and then a 3-foot dropper to anything traditional with a tungsten bead & jigged hook, have fun!!!
