Metolius River Update

11-6-2020
Fly and Field Outfitters

Above Allingham Bridge has closed as of November 1st. That being said the lower end of the Metolius has been fishing very well and dry fly action continues to not disappoint. BWOs, PMDs, Caddis, Golden Stones. Over the next couple weeks nymphing with an egg as one of your choices along with a golden stone or larger pheasant tail bead head. Streamers for Bullies will be a theme as well and having a few dolly llamas in a few color variations will benefit any angler. Carry that 4wt for dries, 6 wt for nymphs, and 8 wt for streamers and have a blast. Give us a ring or stop in at the shop for any details and we’d love to help.
