Puerto Morelos Fish Report- Marina El Cid, Cancun to Cozumel Area
4-16-2009
Larry Edwards
Armando Gutierrez, the fleet's general manager, reported that the
fishing was OK, but there was a lack of anglers for the week. He
reported on 6 fishing days that reflected 4 sailfish, 7 dorado, 1 red
snapper and 3 yellowfin tuna for their efforts.
PM Climate: Partly cloudy days but warm and comfortable, temps from
73 nights to 86 daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Good temps, holding stable at 80 degrees, easterly
surface breezes at about 10 knots and light afternoon windchop.
Best Lure/Bait: Sailfish still preferring the rigged ballyhoo and
the same with the dorado.
