Royal Polaris Update 03-25-2007

Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone, weather continues to be a problem out here at Hurricane Bank. We had 18 to 22 knots of breeze most of the day. It is tolerable, but a bit uncomfortable. Our morning was a bit slow, but by mid-day the Wahoo made a showing. We did manage a few Yellowfin on the troll today, but the kite seems to be the ticket once again. Most of the day passengers talked about there past trips aboard the Royal Polaris, and there upcoming future trips. Our weather is improving a bit, so hopefully we can get some flyers tonight. It was tough last night trying to get a tank of Flying fish, but we did get our tank. So until tomorrow, wish us luck and we will keep you posted on our upcoming events.

The R/p crew.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

We caught a handful of Yellowfin in the 50 to 80 pound range, and few fish over the century mark, with one fish going over the 200 pound mark....... Read More

We picked away at the Wahoo on the anchor, still not very productive on the troll. The Yellowfin fishing was on the fair side. Most of the fish were in the 120 to 160 range, with two going over the 200 pound mark. Lucky angler today was James Townsend of Concord....... Read More
