Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone, weather continues to be good. We had 12 knots of breeze, with very warm days. Our morning started out a bit slow, but we managed to put a few fish on the boat. Most of the Yellowfin we caught today were in the 50 to 70 pound range, but larger fish did come on the kite. Most of the kite fish were over the century mark, with a few in the 160 to 190 range. At any given time you could catch a Sardine fish. We think a new batch of Wahoo are showing on the bank. This was a very different trip, because we tried many different techniques on catching giants. To find out these new techniques, you have to ask Billy at the dock. May be he might tell you, but I can't. So over all this was a good trip. We had many anglers catch there personnel best, and we had first timers catch fish they could only dream of. But that's what the Royal Polaris is about. Making dreams come true. We had good Wahoo fishing, and tomorrow I will give you our final fish count for the trip. So until then, good luck and good fishing. The R/p crew.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

Our morning was a bit slow, but by mid-day the Wahoo made a showing. We did manage a few Yellowfin on the troll today, but the kite seems to be the ticket once again. Most of the day passengers talked about there past trips aboard the Royal Polaris,...... Read More

Hello everyone, well I guess all good things must come to an end, and that's what our weather did. We had overcast skies, 15 to 18 knots of wind and 5 to 8 foot seas. The weather was not the only thing that changed; the fishing was a bit slow today. We caught a handful of Yellowfin in the 50 to 80 pound range, and few fish over the century mark, with one fish going over the 200 pound mark....... Read More
