Stever P on the Mission Belle just called in a total 45 Yellowtail, 25 Barracuda, 37 Bonito, 14 Rockfish, and 34 Calico Bass on their fullday islands trip.  He said fishing at the islands is good and there is a good mixed bag of yellowtail, calico bass, barracuda and bonito! Next available trip with open space will be on June 21st which is a Sunday.

Chad on the Point Loma called in from his local 3/4 with a total of 75 calico bass, 4 whitefish, 26 rockfish, a sheepshead, and a sand bass! There is plenty of room all week for these trips but act fast!

Daily Double came back from their AM half day with 68 calico bass and 3 rockfish.  We have plenty of room for half day trips, jump on it while you can.

The El Capitan returned this A.M. from their 1.5 day trip with 20 Bluefin Tuna up to 120 lbs. for their group of 14 passengers.

The American Angler returned this morning with 37 Bluefin Tuna up to a whopping 140+ pounds! We should have some very nice fishing conditions coming up and the bite should continue to heat up! 

The New Lo-An returned today from their 1.5 day with 12 Bluefin Tuna up to 120 lbs for thier 25 Anglers.

The T-Bird returned this morning from their 1.5 day with 4 Bluefin Tuna  for their 20 passengers.

The Game Changer came in from their 1.5 day with 5 Bluefin Tuna up to 120 lbs for their 6 Anglers.
 

Calico Bass fishing has been excellent on the Daily Double ½ day trips. Yesterday’s AM trip returned with 56 Calico Bass, 3 Sand Bass and 2 Rockfish. The PM trip returned with 57 Calico , 8 Barracuda and one Sand Bass.

Yesterday's 3/4 day trip aboard the Point Loma came back with 90 Calico, 8 Rockfish and two Barracuda.

Yesterday's Mission Belle full day trip to the Coronado Islands came back with 73 Yellowtail, 65 Calico, 6 Rockfish, 4 Barracuda and two Bonita.


Local trips:

The Daily Double departs twice a day for ½ day trips to the local kelp beds. Departure times are 8:30 am and 3:00 pm.

The Point Loma has local ¾ day trips scheduled every day. Departure time is 6:30 am. No passport required for this trip.

The Mission Belle is currently running full day trip to the Coronado Islands. Departure time is 6:00 am. All passengers will need a valid passport or passport card to board the boat.

Some things to keep in mind in order to be able to go forward are that social distancing practices and safe medical practices must be adhered to and are as follows:

1.    Any angler that has any cold or flu symptoms must stay at home.

2.    All anglers must wear a mask and that covers both mouth and nose.

3.    Anglers must keep a minimum of a 6 foot distance at all times.

4.    All anglers fishing on an Overnight trip or longer must bring their own pillow and blanket.
