Big Hungry
The El Capitan checked in with 20 Bluefin Tuna up to 120 lbs. for their group of 14 passengers.
The American Angler called in with 33 Bluefin Tuna up to a whopping 140+ pounds! We should have some very nice fishing conditions coming up and the bite should continue to heat up!
The Daily Double AM trip came back with 56 Calico Bass, 3 Barred Sand Bass and 2 Rockfish for their passengers.
The Daily Double PM trip came back with 57 Calico Bass, 1 Barred Sand Bass and 8 Barracuda for their passengers.
The Mission Belle called in with 73 Yellowtail, 4 Barracuda, 6 Rockfish and 65 Calico Bass!
The Point Loma checked in from their local ¾ day trip with 90 Calico Bass, 2 Barracuda and 8 Rockfish for their 18 passengers.
The Intrepid returned from a 1.5 day trip this morning with 12 Bluefin Tuna and 5 Yellowtail for 21 passengers. Seven of the Bluefin weighed in over 100 lbs.
Calico Bass fishing has been excellent on the Daily Double ½ day trips. Yesterday’s AM trip returned with 87 Calico Bass and one Rockfish. The PM trip returned with 57 Calico and one Barracuda.
Departing Sunday night:
The T-Bird has an overnight trip departing at 8:00 pm. This trip is fishing offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna and Yellowtail. Ticket price is $265.00 and includes your Mexican fishing permit. Limited to 22 passengers.
Local trips:
The Daily Double departs twice a day for ½ day trips to the local kelp beds. Departure times are 8:30 am and 3:00 pm.
The Point Loma has local ¾ day trips scheduled every day. Departure time is 6:30 am. No passport required for this trip.
The Mission Belle is currently running full day trip to the Coronado Islands. Departure time is 6:00 am. All passengers will need a valid passport or passport card to board the boat.
Some things to keep in mind in order to be able to go forward are that social distancing practices and safe medical practices must be adhered to and are as follows:
1. Any angler that has any cold or flu symptoms must stay at home.
2. All anglers must wear a mask and that covers both mouth and nose.
3. Anglers must keep a minimum of a 6 foot distance at all times.
4. All anglers fishing on an Overnight trip or longer must bring their own pillow and blanket.
