Not much to detail on the final day of travel that became a bumpy affair for awhile. Rolling up with “one foot in the sand” we significantly reduced the sea and swell making an overall decent ride of it. At only one full day it didn’t (thankfully) have sufficient time to become a slog. Before we knew it, it was done. And, as so often happens, the final sixty miles laid down right nice becoming near flat calm by morning. Ahhh…

So goes the 2019 annual Ventura County Anglers charter. Always characterized by good spirits and high cheer this run left nothing to doubt in the way of these angler’s affinity for fishing and friendship. We managed a hell of a nice catch too featuring beautiful ridge variety and fine quality. Our most sincere gratitude to charter master Brian Zimmeran and the

entire Ventura county group of veterans and newcomers alike. All are welcome on Royal Star. Always.
