Fishing Has Been Good For Browns

11-15-2019
Fly and Field Outfitters

Quick update from East and Paulina; fishing has been good for the browns in shallower water, the Kokanee are still spawning, and the rainbows are fattening up for winter. Stripping wooly buggers along the banks or nymphing either under an indicator or with a dry dropper rig have all been working well. The gate up to East and Paulina will be closed on November 21st for the season as well as sections of the cascade lake highway so be sure to get out one last time! The lakes were great fun and we are looking forward to next season and another great year!

Suggested Dries: Griffiths Gnat #16-24, Purple Haze #18-20, Chubby Patriot #12-14.

Suggested Nymphs: Two Bit Hookers #18-22, Dark Assassin #16-18, Zebra Midge #18-22, Egg patterns.

Suggested Streamers: Crystal Flash Buggers, smaller bunny leeches in natural black or white, Articulated streamers in white or olive.
