Sailfish remain the frequent fish for the week with most boats having
a shot or two or more. Blue marlin slowed a bit, with only three

for 30 days fished reflected 3 blue marlin, (2-300 lb. range) 38
sailfish, 16 dorado and two yellowfin tuna, (twins at 60 lbs. each).
Inshore fishing was again excellent for sierra, with easy limit
fishing, along with 6 pargo, 20 cochitos, 4 roosterfish, 5 toro and 1
dorado for 6 days fished.
Mazatlan Climate: Mostly cloudy so far this week, with temps from 57
nights to 86 daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Ranged from 75 inshore to 81 offshore, with mostly
flat conditions and very light surface winds.
Best fishing area: Remains from the West5 to southwest, 20-25 miles
from the Marina El Cid.
Best Lure/Bait: Rigged mullet were the better of the baits,
especially for the sailfish.
