The additional 1,200 lbs including some trophy's were added for your angling pleasure, the trout inventory is increasing. Trout Bait: 16-20"inch leader, night crawler smeared with scent fished below a bobber, or Rainbow Power Bait fished off the bottom. (Pautzkes Krill gel or liquid Krill scent)

Best Trout Lures: Orange Rapala, Yellow Roster Tail, Gold Panther Martin. Use scent (Krill gel works best)

Best Trout Spots: Lone Pine, Dike, Chambers Park, Trolling entire lake.

Notable: Bob Hatcher, San Diego, (limit) largest 3lbs Rainbow, Power bait/inflated night crawler. (lots of mixed sized stringers.)

Fly Fishing: Try a Matuka or a Wolly Bugger worked slow on the fall.

Nature Walk: The self guided walk is 3 1/2 miles around the lake. The trail is open for daily use.

Free Fishing Class Saturday at 10:AM: Ranger Willard will teach tried and true Trout tactics, along with Crappie and Catfish.

Prognosis:!! Fishing bait will continue to produce some very nice stringers. Trolling Rapalas, Panther Martins and Roster Tails getting good action. This cold weather will either ignite the bite or shut it down?? Going to be cold all week so bring warm clothes and a bait warmer !
