Jess Ranch Lakes Fish Report

11-2-2008
Jess Ranch Lakes Staff

Trout bite is excellent on both lakes with anglers using Power Bait
( especially rainbow, spring green, bubblegum and orange), night crawlers
( doused with garlic), jigs and lures to catch limits. Lots of limits went out
and most fish were near or over two pounds. The trout are moving and
anglers report good action around both lakes that remains strong
throughout the day. Hot spots included the grassy point, eastern and
northern shores of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of
lake 2. Bass are still hitting senkos, spinner bait and drop shot on the
northern shore of lake 3 and near and around the wall of lake 2.

Attached Pic # 1: Rick Moore of Hesperia fished the eastern shore of lake 3 at Jess Ranch Lakes and caught a limit that included a 5 lbs 7 ozs rainbow. He used the BB Custom pole he won on Prize Day at the lakes last weekend and a Lip Ripperz Spoon.

crawler to catch his 4 lbs 4 ozs rainbow on the eastern shore of lake 3 at Jess
