Nights are down to the low forties with daytime temperatures in the mid 80's. Trout bite continues to improve with excellent action until 11am and good action until closing. Anglers used power bait ( especially bubblegum, grape, rainbow, spring green and chartreuse), night crawlers, jigs and lures to catch limits. Hot spots included the grassy point and eastern shore of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lake 2. Bass continue to hit senkos with anglers reporting good action near the wall of lake 2 and the northern shore of lake 3.

2nd Place--Rob Prim of La Habra scored his 4 lbs 6 ozs rainbow on a Lip Ripperz on the eastern log shore of lake 3.
3rd Place--Britney Snedeher of Palmdale reeled in her 3 lbs 14 ozs trout on a Lip Ripperz on the north eastern shore of lake 3.
4th Place--Danny Williams of Rialto fished the grassy point and caught his 3 lbs 13 ozs rainbow on aThomas Buoyant.
5th Place--John Incampo of Chino Hills fished the eastern shore of lake 3 and used a yellow/orange jig to catch his 3 lbs 6 ozs trout.

Smallest Trout Adult Division:

1st Place-- Mark Harwell of Victorville -- 7 ozs - Jerkit Lure
2nd Place-- John Incampo of Chino Hills 9 ozs

Heaviest Limit winner, Rick Moore of Hesperia took the prize with a 10 lbs 9 ozs stringer and used a Roostertail.

Four year old, Destin Wills of San Bernardino caught a 3 lbs 6 ozs trout on Rainbow Power Bait near the bridge on the north shore of lake 2. Gabriel Torres of Barstow caught a limit that included a 4 lbs 11 ozs rainbow using a Thomas Buoyant near the inlets of lake 2. Redlands angler, Joe Gutierrez caught a 3 lbs 5 ozs rainbow on a power worm while fishing on the western shore of lake 3. Paul Clutchins of Rancho Cucamonga caught a 3 lbs 15 ozs rainbow on a Super Duper near the pump house of lake 3.
