Shogun Sportfishing Fish Report

9-21-2008
Bruce A. Smith

The tuna are still biting here at Guadalupe Island. We has a decent start with several yellowfin on deck before 7am. Chasing the dolphins, metering schools, and anchoring at some of the traditional spots all resulted in hook ups. Keith Moore Jr. fishing a sardine under the balloon landed a tuna that conservatively taped out at 135#. The fish has shoulders of a linebacker. Many tuna in the 70-80# class are in the RSW hold and tomorrow we plan to fish the island again. The wind is forecast to come down the next few days, so we have the option to fish offshore traveling home.
