Shogun Sportfishing Fish Report

9-15-2008

Guadalupe Island produced some quality tuna for the Shogun today, but a consistent bite eluded us all day. This morning we had yellowfin boiling all around the boat at one stop with just a handful hooked, and the tax man was charging 50% today. Frank Grace landed the first tuna over 50# which earned him a Seeker rod presented by charter master Gary La Croix. Chuck Robinson also boated a "Pole Benda" on 50# top shot that looks like it will go 100#. That was quite a battle. The Shogun is going to fish the island again tomorrow, and we hope to come across a good spot of tuna that want to chew.
