Hodges Lake Staff
The bass are still pretty active and hungry.
Spinner baits (white), jigs, also black and purple robo worms on a Texas rigs seem to be the favorite right now.
Crappie have started to bite more frequently and favoring the live shiners.
Catfish are plentiful and enjoying the night crawler and live shiners.
Bluegill and tilapia are very slow still.

The bass bite is still going strong with 2 pounds to 9-pound bass being caught through the narrows and near the damn, they are biting on crank boats, senkos, and plastics. Tilapia are also being caught in large numbers off of night crawlers Crappie are a little slow with only a few being reported caught Catfish and carp are being caught in big numbers off of mackerel and dough baits.......
