Bass Are Hungry

4-1-2019
Hodges Lake Staff

Bass are now sitting on beds very hungry! They are favoring senkos in green pumpkin or a Texas rig and wacky rig set up. Swim baits and action baits are doing well also. Crappie bite has picked up with most favoring live crappie shiners. Catfish and Carp are active and hungry biting mostly on nightcrawlers.

The bass bite is still going strong with 2 pounds to 9-pound bass being caught through the narrows and near the damn, they are biting on crank boats, senkos, and plastics.
