The bass bite is still going strong with 2 pounds to 9-pound bass being caught through the narrows and near the damn, they are biting on crank boats, senkos, and plastics. Tilapia are also being caught in large numbers off of night crawlers Crappie are a little slow with only a few being reported caught Catfish and carp are being caught in big numbers off of mackerel and dough baits.

Bass are starting to move out into the main part of the lake so fishing has been getting better. Cat fishermen are still finding some nice cats. Look for some of the bigger bluegill in deeper water. Carp fishing has been very productive, you will find them in the shallow water. Bow hunters are having a good year this year. ...... Read More
