Shogun Sportfishing Fish Report

9-6-2008
Bruce A. Smith

All those precious days of calm seas, they seem so long ago. We fished offshore closer to home today in choppy windy conditions. A kelp early on gave us the best action of the day. Dorado, tuna and a few yellows bit steady as an occasional wave swept the deck. After that, just a handful of jig strikes for skip jack and it was time to head for home. The trip delivered several types of offshore fishing at various locations, and the weather was very nice until today. An Izorline 6 day trip is tomorrows venture. An extra day opens up all sort of opportunity.
