Shogun Sportfishing Fish Report

9-4-2008
Bruce A. Smith

Today we had good steady yellowtail fishing at a couple of different spots. Once the anchor went down there was very steady action, later the bite slowed and we made a few successful drifts and then looked around a bit. Yo-yo iron was the ticket, if you didn't get bit by a yellow, it was a nice calico or a Nimitz class whitefish! After lunch Norm called it a day as he put the Shogun on course for Guadalupe Island. Trophy yellowtail and tuna are in the cross hairs. Te weather has been fine throughout the trip and the fishing gets better by the day.
