Shogun Sportfishing Fish Report

9-2-2008
Bruce A. Smith

Glad to be out on a multi day trip once again. This open party trip brings us several familiar faces, we are always looking for new people to fish with us but its a vote of confidence when we can maintain that long term relationship with you fishermen. This evening the Shogun is running throughout the night, putting us in a zone to look for offshore kelps. The plan is to put some fish on the boat and arrive at San Benitos Islands early afternoon. Good yellowtail fishing and a white sea bass or two should should be the order of the day.

As we turn the corner on Summer the crew of the Shogun and the ladies in the office would like to thank all of you who fished with us this season. As Fall approaches all the fleet hopes for a good run of big tuna. These fish certainly test equipment and angler determination. That initial run of a big cow...spectra singing off the spool. A fish of a lifetime.
