Near perfect inshore and offshore conditions were the order of the day in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo last week. Captain Chiro on the Bloody Hook led the way as he reported landing 10 YELLOWFIN TUNA for angler Mr. Peltier. Mr. Thein also fishing aboard the Bloody Hook landed 1 SAILFISH, 1 DORADO and lost 2 MARLIN in one offshore day. First time visitor to Ixtapa Mr. Corey Bear landed 2 SAILFISH in 1 day with Captain Chiro who finished the week with another 2 SAILFISH 1 DORADO day. Captain Temo on the Sequestro reported 3 ROOSTERFISH, 1 (15 lb ) Big Eye Jack in 1 inshore day and 2 YELLOWFIN TUNA AND 3 SAILFISH in 2 offshore trips. Captain Adolofo fished inshore and reported 15 Yellowtail Jacks and 11 ROOSTEFISH along with some good light tackle action on Bonitos. Captain Chico on the Llamarada landed the largest fish of the week, a 300 Lb Blue Marlin. The Blue water is virtually in the bay at this time and billfish conditions could not be better. We still have some excellent availabity in the upcoming months.

Ixtapa Zihuatanejo weather: Mostly cloudy with temps from 73 nights to 89 daytime highs

Sea Conditions: Calm, temps rrom 80 inshore and rising to 82 offshore.
