Hi Everyone,
Today was essentially a travel day for us as we worked north all day. We did have a little time to try for some yellowtail and managed to pick up a few handfuls of quality yellowtail that went straight into our 30 degree RSW well. It was a fun hour and a half of fishing. The rest of the day was spent breaking down the rest of our tackle and relaxing. Our weather was just ok as we had 15 to 18 knots of wind most of the afternoon but still pleasant traveling weather for us. One photo attached with this report is of a nice yellowtail caught by Joe Schilling. Joe ran sportboats out of Redondo Beach back in the 70's and was definitely one of the hot sticks on this trip. It was a pleasure fishing with you Joe. We travel all day tomorrow and return back to Point Loma Sportfishing on Sunday morning for our offload. We have an ETA of 0615.
