Hi Everyone,
Today was a travel day for us. As we head north in calm weather, the group had a chance to get some much needed rest after a week of fishing. A lot of factors were in our favor this trip with good weather the entire time, beautifully cured out bait from Everingham Bait Company, a shot at big fish every day, awesome new gear from Avet reels and Seeker rods, and a great group of anglers that fished hard and had great attitudes. We were truly blessed this entire trip. One of the nice things about these long trips is meeting new people, making new friends, and learning new methods and techniques for catching fish. This fishery is constantly changing and what worked the best last year is not necessarily going to work the best today. The guys spent the day relaxing, breaking down tackle, watching movies, and we even had a Texas Hold Em game before lunch. The chefs out did themselves again tonight with a dinner of panko crusted fresh wahoo over rice with a veurreblanc, and homemade bread pudding with a scoop of coffee ice cream for dessert. Amazing. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
