Hi Gang,

We enjoyed a nice day of traveling up the line yesterday. We returned back to Point Loma Sportfishing at 0615 this morning. I cannot say enough about what an awesome trip this was. Good weather, good food, good fishing, and a great group of people. A big thanks to our host Fred Knilans for representing Catchy Tackle with a bunch of free giveaways and for helping out in the rigging/fishing department. I also want to give a huge thank you to our galley staff of head chef Brian Torres and assistant chef Jonathan Dorado for knocking it out of the park on every meal this entire trip. Oh! and Jonathans homemade birthday cake for Phil last night was exceptional. Happy birthday Phil!! And thank you to all of our guests that were so much fun to fish with. We ended up with 11 fish over 200 pounds and 7 more between 191 and 198 pounds. Our jackpot winners are as follows: 3rd place went to James Salmorin with a 238.6 pound yellowfin tuna, 2nd place went to Dane Barriault with a 243.4 pound yellowfin tuna, and 1st place goes to Phil Nguyen with a 250.3 pound yellowfin tuna. Strong work men!  Things look really good down below right now and we are excited about getting back down on our next long trip.
