Royal Polaris Fishing Report

Hello everyone;

Well today was our last day of fishing, and it was a tough one. Or should I say it was tough on the Yellowfin tuna. If not for the jumbo Yellowtail’s, today would have been a bad day. It was good fishing on 30 t0 40 pound Yellowtail, but I would say we lost all the big ones.

We only boated one Yellowfin today, but with multiply hooks throughout the day, all I can say it was a tough day. We lost tuna to spectra breaking, knot failures, put the reel in full, trying to stop the fish, just to name a few things that happened today. We departed the area around 21:00 hours, and we are now headed north.

Weather today was just gorgeous, with flat seas, clear skies, and sunny. So until tomorrow, good luck and good fishing.

Team R/p.
