Royal Polaris Crew
Hello everyone;
We departed on a 6 day Sav-On tackle trip. We had a few things to fix on the boat, so we departed at 11:00 hours. Headed to the bait barge, loaded bait, and we now headed for points south. We have a great load of bait. We cleared Point Loma around 12:30 hours.
Jonathan gave his safety seminar and a brief fishing seminar. After lunch, the crew went to work getting everyone ready for tomorrows fishing adventure. The weather is a bit breeze, with 12 to 15 knots, clear skies, and sunny. Traveling south is good, and we will keep you posted on our daily events.
Team R/p (Jonathan, Dharyl, Eddie, Deron, John, Chris, Mark, and Joe).

Hi RP Followers, Starting at sunrise, we began hooking fish and it didn’t stop with 3-5 hooked until after 3pm. We had a similar fantastic grade of tuna as yesterday with only a handful under 100lbs. Most of our 59 tuna were between 120 and 171lbs. We had a nice batch of yellowtail to compliment our catch topped off with an after dinner 42lber. It was nothing less than amazing! We had a trio of personal bests, including a his...... Read More
