Change of Pace

A refreshing change of pace as we switched into offshore mode finding biting, school size yellowfin tuna to compliment our catch of yellowtail. About half of the tuna we landed were in the release category (6-10#’s) but the other half made the grade easily with the standouts pushing 25#’s. We’ll take ‘em. After a loooooong stretch seeking biting tuna with nothing to show for it waves of brown backs plowing through the corner eating everything that hit the water was a sight to behold. It all added up to nice day of offshore fishing. Good weather transitioned into a bumpy afternoon providing a perfect platform to depart from at day’s end. Tomorrow another distinct change of pace will add to the variety list both in scenery and species; if we are lucky on the fishing.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.

Forging through a slow, slow morning with the afternoon came a condition change that mercifully ushered in...... Read More

Fully satisfied after a non-stop, five hour showing of burly yellowtail tearing the surface apart we departed sated and satisfied that both they, and we, did our part in the production. Absolutely beautiful, flat calm weather complimented the show to our delight. In all we could not have asked for more. Taking off after lunch our afternoon offshore search fell...... Read More
