We scratched out a few exotics adding wahoo to the variety list in continuing sublime conditions. Even though the action fell off it was one of those days on the offshore ocean that called to the soul. Everyone was reminded of exactly why they came; of why they venture long range fishing voyages in general. Beautiful simply put, a setting unlike any other. Forging through a slow, slow morning with the afternoon came a condition change that mercifully ushered in a few handfuls of shots at wahoo. The guys, and gals, made the most of more than a handful of them but wahoo, being crafty as they are, still managed to zip, nip, and rip their way to victory. There were a lot of bites we just couldn’t make good on. In the end we headed east seeking a change of pace again tomorrow. Though we basked in the beauty and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the outside our fill was had by the late afternoon. The search offshore continues tomorrow.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.

Flat calm – grease; an easy long period swell, just the right temperature, all things combined made a good time of it. Just what the doctor following a day and a half of southerly travel we located some sign, settled in, and remained on the anchor the entire day picking away at nice yellows. Though they never really got with it they never left us either....... Read More
