Another upbeat fishing week at Puerto Morelos and the reporting of
the first blue marlin of the season, taken aboard the "Pescadora II".

The boats reporting for a total of 16 fishing days reflected a smorgasbord catch that included 1 blue marlin, 1 sailfish, 2 grouper, 18 dorado, 1 wahoo, 6 king mackerel, 3 giant barracuda, 2 pargo, 1 triggerfish, 1 yellowfin tuna and 1 amberjack.
Puerto Morelos Climate: Ranged from 73 nights to 90 daytime highs, some scattered thunder clouds and tropical breezes.
Sea Conditions: Temps were stable at 82 degrees, some easterly wind chop.
Best Bait/Lure: Rigged ballyhoo still getting the best action. (Bait used for the Blue marlin not reported).
