Fish Report for 3-28-2017

Cisco’s Report: Tuesday 03-28-17

3-28-2017
Channel Islands Sportfishing

Only one boat was out fishing this afternoon because of the windy forecast. The Gentleman ran its "2 for Tuesday" special and had 57 anglers on board. With almost a full boat, captain Craig headed across the channel straight in to the oncoming swell and wind. The ride across was bumpy but they were able to find a calm area behind the island. Fishing in the shallows produced a good Whitefish bite that also brought a hand full of Sheephead on board. Out a little deeper, captain Craig was able to find some nice Rockfish that wanted to bite. Overall a good day and a decent count considering the amount of lines in the water. We will be back out tomorrow with a more favorable forecast, so if you have the day free come fishing with us! Today’s Fish Count: 1 boats and 57 anglers. 228 Assorted Rockfish, 114 Ocean Whitefish, 5 Sheephead and 3 Sculpin.
