Boy timing is everything. Preparing for a rollathon coming across we were treated to the exact opposite – a nice ride. The forecast change in conditions did arrive but not before we were far inside away from the offshore swell. Very good fortune is what it comes down to, and at least a little effective planning.
In closing for this voyage our gratitude is extended to Charter Master and Royal Star living legend Floyd Abbott who assembled another stellar group of anglers focused on all the right tenants of long range success. Kudos and thanks to every individual as well. Now it is on to the next voyage departing tomorrow with the uncontested master at the helm. Look for reports to continue as they ply the offshore waters. Final voyage photo features first time Royal Star angler, but no stranger to fishing, Craig Orenstein who jumped on the voyage last minute and was handsomely rewarded. Landing a 140 pound yellowfin on our final afternoon, and this 45 pound bruiser yellowtail in the photo, Craig was treated to the full outside experience and then some. Good livin'.
