Royal Polaris Fishing Report

7-4-2016
Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone; Our weather is just out o this world, with flat seas, clear skies, and all the sunshine you could ask for. After breakfast, Jonathan gave a seminar on the how’s, what’s and could happen. Once he was done, the crew went to work getting everyone ready for battle. We made a few stops, one at San Benitos, and another at Cedros. All we could muster or our efforts was one lone Whitefish. So we would continue to move south, and we will arrive to our destination around 09:00 hours.

After lunch today we had our first annual polish toe nail competition. Nails were painted in many different styles, colors, and even for different events. Big “D” would pick the winner. Cindi Rhodes would win with her 4th of July flags, Becky Kuechel would come in a close second with the powder blue starfish. David Zech came in last with his confederate flag colors. But we did have a late comer to the show, Sonny Rhodes would fall a sleep, and Cindi would paint his nails a blue/gray sparkly color. It was fun for all aboard.

We had a great dinner, short ribs and a peach and berry topping ice cream. So with note and all the great food, it was time to head to bed, and get rest for tomorrow’s show.

Hello everyone; Our weather has changed some, but it’s still beautiful out here. We departed the area yesterday, and we are headed up to the Bluefin grounds, and we did manage to pick off a couple of Yellowfin in the 13 to 15 pound range, and a load of Whitefish for fish taco’s. But other than that it was a travel day, moving north. The rest of the day was spent watching movies, catching up on emails,...... Read More
