Royal Polaris Fishing Report

Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone; Well, we arrived to Fisherman’s landing at 06:00 hours, with a happy group of anglers. We ended our trip with a few Bluefin, with a monster Bluefin that weighed in at 235 pounds. We did get two other fish, and loss two more. The giant was caught on the kite, and Mark was one happy angler. The other two anglers Santos and Manfred.

Bluefin were in the 80 pound class. The other two fish we lost were caught on the Shimano flat fall, the hooks pulled on one, the other one, the fish chewed through the 50 pound test mono. But that’s how we ended our trip, looking at schools of Bluefin all afternoon.

But enough of that, we are on our annual Kuechel 6 day trip, with 19 happy anglers. We have a good load of bait, and we are headed for points south. We should arrive to our first destination around 15:00 hours. Each year we have a great time on this trip. George Kuechel has been a regular on this boat for over 20 years, and he’s been chartering the boat for years for his family and friends. So until tomorrow, wish us luck, and we will keep you posted on our daily events. Team R/p (Jonathan, Dharyl, Roy, Deron, Kyle, Greg, Mark, and Dave).

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

But other than that it was a travel day, moving north. The rest of the day was spent watching movies, catching up on emails,...... Read More
